Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has been voted into France Football's XI of 2015... but he is the only Premier League player to make the cut.

The Belgium international moved to the Etihad in the summer, and has been chosen for his impressive performances in both England and Germany, with Wolfsburg.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Barcelona are the most-represented club, with four of their first-team stars included in the French magazine's annual selection.

Dani Alves, Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi and Neymar are all present, to cap off an amazing 2015 which saw them win the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey.

In the Champions League final in May, Barcelona beat Juventus, whose goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is included, while Diego Godin, Giorgio Chiellini and David Alaba make up a back four consisting of Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga players.

Cristiano Ronaldo leads the line for the all-star XI after a year which has seen him score 54 goals in 54 games for Real Madrid in all competitions.

Perhaps the most surprising inclusion is that of Grzegorz Krychowiak, Sevilla's Polish midfielder.
