Robin van Persie has again been left out of the Netherlands squad for their upcoming friendlies against France and England.

The Fenerbahce striker, who is the national team's all-time leading scorer with 50 goals in 101 caps, was also left out of the November friendlies against Wales and Germany.

The 32-year-old has scored 10 goals for the Turkish side, and last played for the national team in October against Czech Republic, where he scored once and netted an own goal in the 3-2 defeat which ended their Euro 2016 qualification hopes.
