A Lionel Messi shot left a Villarreal fan in need of medical attention during Barcelona's game on Sunday.
Messi, who failed to score for the first time in seven games, rarely misses the target but his wayward effort early in the first half struck a young Villarreal supporter behind the goal.
The La Liga leaders went on to surrender a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at El Madrigal, with Ivan Rakitic and Neymar on the scoresheet for Luis Enrique's side.
Despite initial reports the shot caused a fractured wrist, it appears that was not the case.
