Watch as Carles Puyol sets up a young and exciting La Liga prospect to score the opening goal in the La Liga Promises All Star game.

Puyol was taking part in the game as part of the warm-up for the La Liga Promises competition, which is being staged in Villarreal in Spain from June 3-5. 

Also on the pitch were the likes of Real Madrid legends Raul and Fernando Morientes, as well as Euro 2008 winner Marcos Senna. 

And former Barcelona star Puyol, now 38, rolled back the years with a wonderful assist for the youngster.

Puyol retired in 2014 after a prestigious career that saw him win six La Ligas and three Champions League titles with Barcelona, among a host of other trophies, and the World Cup with Spain in 2010.
