New York City FC 0-7 New York Red Bulls - highlights

Ahead of Sunday's New York derby, live on Sky Sports, we look back on the Red Bulls' 7-0 victory over NYC FC from earlier in the season.

The Red Bulls' win equalled the record for the biggest margin in MLS history, beating the Los Angeles Galaxy's 8-1 victory over Dallas Burn in 1998 and Chicago Fire's 7-0 thrashing of the Kansas City Wizards in 2001.

Goals from Dax McCarty (2), Bradley Wright-Phillips (2), Alex Muyl, Gonzalo Veron and Gideon Baah gave the Red Bulls all three points, and major bragging rights in the Big Apple

Not even the introduction of former Chelsea star Lampard from the City bench could stem the tide, with the NYC FC fans booing the English midfielder's entrance in the second half.

"We didn't play at all," NYC FC boss Patrick Vieira said after the game, but he'll be hoping for better on Sunday at the Yankee Stadium, with the match live on Sky Sports 1 from 5pm, with kick-off at 5.25pm.
