New signing Matt Ritchie opened the scoring for Newcastle as they thumped six goals past Bohemian FC on Saturday.

Gayle, another summer addition, then netted eight minutes after the break before Newcastle completed the rout with three more goals.
Newcastle face Doncaster Rovers in four days at the Keepmoat Stadium, while they also play Belgian side Lokeren, Southend United and Dutch side Vitesse in their pre-season campaign.
