Dean Holdsworth remains committed to Bolton Wanderers, despite no longer being the club's Director of Football.

Holdsworth, who played more than 150 games for the club between 1997-2003, has confirmed he is still a shareholder and director of Burnden Leisure Limited.

The 47-year-old's consortium took control of Bolton earlier this year and despite relinquishing his day-to-day responsibilities, he said: "I remain fully committed to the club and I am excited by the prospect of a successful new season."
