Reaction from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney after Manchester United's 3-1 win at Bournemouth

Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists the team winning is more important than personal glory after Manchester United's 3-1 victory at Bournemouth on Sunday.

The Swedish striker got his Premier League career off to a winning start, capping an impressive debut with a superb long-range strike for United's third goal at the Vitality Stadium.

Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney scored United's other goals, and Ibrahimovic said it did not matter who found the back of the net as long as Manchester United win.

"The first objective is to win, the second, if I can score and help my team like that, it's also good," he told Sky Sports

Ibrahimovic was a little surprised by the man of the match choice

"But whoever scores helps the team. If it's me, Wayne or somebody else it's the same importance if I score. For me, the victory is the most important, whoever scores is a bonus.

"It was a difficult game. First half we weren't 100 per cent but second half it became easier, [there was] more space and we could play our game, then we scored the second and third one. It was a good game, a good start. It's important to start [well]."

Ibrahimovic has now scored in both his appearances for Manchester United, having headed the winner against Leicester in the Community Shield last week, but says he is still getting used to life in England.

"It's not easy. Everything is new for me, the team-mates, club, environment, the new stadiums but slowly I get settled in," he said. "I just play my game, make the team win and we continue like that."
