Anfield will host its biggest crowd in almost 40 years on Saturday evening as Liverpool open their new Main Stand against Leicester City.
The completion of the Main Stand redevelopment has added more than 8,000 seats to the stadium and takes Anfield's official capacity to 54,074.
The £115m project obliged Liverpool to play their opening three fixtures away from home and Claudio Ranieri's Premier League champions provide the opposition for the first home game of the season.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is looking forward to hearing the noise generated by Liverpool's fans now that the capacity has been increased at the famous old ground.
"It's really, really impressive, what they have done there. It's an outstanding job," Klopp said.
"I have no idea how somebody could do something like this, but when you stand in front of it, it's really amazing."
