Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has expressed his happiness with his team's start to the Premier League season.
Moshiri bought a 49.9% stake in Everton in February to become part-owner of the club.
The Iranian businessman helped bring Ronald Koeman in as manager, made seven signings in the summer transfer window and managed to retain the services of striker Romelu Lukaku, who scored a hat-trick against Sunderland on Monday Night Football.
Everton currently sit third in the Premier League standings having won three matches and drawn one game, and Moshiri is pleased with how the season is progressing so far.
"I am very encouraged by the strong start we have made to the season which is our equal best since the start of the Premier League," he said.
"Whilst there is a long season ahead, the players have adapted very well under the leadership of our new manager Ronald Koeman and we look forward to maintaining our momentum and a successful season."
