Dele Alli showed off his cheeky side in England training on Wednesday by producing a secret nutmeg on unwitting Tottenham team-mate Eric Dier.
The young midfielder has produced a catalogue of skilful moments since arriving at Spurs from Milton Keynes Dons last summer and once again demonstrated that he is always alert to an opportunity to add another to his growing list.
Alli, initially appearing to be in conversation with Andros Townsend, looks up and spots Dier walking towards him before proceeding to drag the ball through the legs of his oblivious team-mate.
The 20-year-old has since posted the video to his official Twitter account, accompanied with the message: "So clean he didn't even realise."
Alli has enjoyed a fine start to the new Premier League season and scored in Tottenham's 2-0 victory over current leaders Manchester City at White Hart Lane last Sunday.
England are currently preparing to face Malta on Saturday at Wembley in their first fixture since the departure of Sam Allardyce last week and the subsequent appointment of Gareth Southgate as caretaker manager.
Alli is pushing for his first England start since Euro 2016, having featured as a second-half substitute in Allardyce's only match in charge, a 1-0 victory over Slovakia in a 2018 World Cup Qualifier in September.
