Huddersfield boss David Wagner has accepted a Football Association misconduct charge for his reaction during his side's defeat at Reading.

Wagner has been fined £2,000 for the incident, which occurred towards the end of the match at the Madejski Stadium on September 24 where 10-man Huddersfield lost 1-0.

The Terriers had winger Rajiv van La Parra dismissed in the first half of what was just their second league defeat of this season, the other coming against fellow high-fliers Brighton earlier in the month.

Huddersfield have made an impressive start in Wagner's first full season in charge with the club sitting two points clear of Norwich at the top of the Sky Bet Championship.

Wagner has been linked with the managerial vacancy at Aston Villa following the dismissal of Roberto Di Matteo last week.

But the former Borussia Dortmund second team coach insists he will not leave his current position for a rival club in the Championship.
