WATCH: Andorra score a year after their last international goal
Monday 10 October 2016 23:11, UK
Andorra scored their first goal in seven games exactly a year after their last, netting in a 2-1 defeat to Switzerland.
The side are traditionally known for being the side that concedes plenty of goals without offering much in return, but sprung a late surprise on the Swiss on Monday evening.
Their opponents had taken a 2-0 lead in their World Cup Qualifying Group B game thanks to goals from Fabian Schar and Admir Mehmedi.
But in the 90th minute, Alexandre Martinez curled in a delightful goal to spark wild scenes of celebration from the players, staff and fans at the Estadi Nacional.
Andorra's last goal came exactly one year ago against Belgium on Saturday, October 10, 2015 during qualification for Euro 2016.
Toni Lima netted from the penalty spot during the 4-1 defeat, although Monday's stunning strike from open play will certainly be one to remember for the Andorrans.
