Monday's trip to Anfield may have been serious business, but Jose Mourinho was left doubled over by his latest meeting with the pride of Liverpool.
Mourinho is not used to coming off second best, but in a 'laugh first and lose' contest with a professional funnyman, there was only ever going to be one winner.
The Manchester United manager engaged in a charity joke-off with Scouse comedian and Reds fan John Bishop - and it was Mourinho who cracked (up) first.
Bishop got no more than a smirk with one excruciating pun, and Mourinho maintained a poker face even when he was the butt of a gag about another famous Portuguese export.
But when the time came for the United boss to tell an innocuous Christmas cracker-type joke about a sheep...well...see for yourselves what happened.
