Jack Wilshere believes Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe can go on to manage one of the bigger clubs in England or even the national team.
Howe has impressed Wilshere since his arrival at the club on loan from Arsenal and, despite his close relationship with the Cherries, he reckons the 38-year-old can reach the top of his profession.
Sky Bet quote Howe as their 5/1 favourite to replace Arsene Wenger as the next permanent Arsenal manager - where he could be reunited with Wilshere - and he is quoted at 16/1 to be appointed as the next permanent England boss.
"Eddie is only young but he's a top manager," Wilshere told Sky Sports News HQ.
"You look at some managers and the best managers for me have a hunger for the game, a love for the game, are obsessed by everything.
"They look at little things that they can do to improve within the club and the manager here is always doing that.
"I speak with him after games and he goes through everything with me. That's what players want from a manager. They want honesty.
"I know how much he loves Bournemouth, but in the future he could definitely work with a big team or possibly even England."
