Pep Guardiola says Man City need to learn to win in different ways

Pep Guardiola says it is vital his Manchester City players learn how to win in different ways if they are to maintain the Premier League title pace.
City have drawn three of their past four games, a run which has seem them slip to third in the table and overtaken by Liverpool and Chelsea.
Just two points separate the top four - with Arsenal making up the frame - and City can hardly be classified as a club in crisis, despite their drop off in form, after a flying start to the campaign, winning their first six games.
City were left to rue several missed chances in their Premier League game prior to the international break, with Middlesbrough scoring an injury-time equaliser to take a 1-1 draw.
Guardiola, whose side play at Crystal Palace on Saturday, says his players have to learn how to "solve" their game and also feels they need to be generating more goalscoring opportunities.
"To be there we have to win games at home, but we lost six points in the three games we did not win," he said. "We deserve to win but we can improve. I have a lot of confidence in my team.
"I think some teams want to attack, some want to defend, others want to wait for a moment.
"A team like Middlesbrough if they decide to defend is the best way to beat us we have to be ready. I am sad for the players because we are active in our games, but we have to solve and create more chances.
"We are going to improve and find the right way to win these kinds of games.
"We will play tough games home and away but we know the situation. We have to win to stay with the big teams in the Premier League."
