Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe joins the Premier League's 150 goal club

Jermain Defoe scored his 150th Premier League goal in Sunderland's 3-0 victory over Hull City on Saturday.
In doing so he became the eighth player to reach the landmark, joining an illustrious list of names, including Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney.
Frank Lampard, Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Andrew Cole have also notched 150 Premier League goals and we've picked out their best, most iconic strikes to celebrate the feat.
Shearer, who went on to score 260 Premier League goals in 441, was the quickest player to score 150 goals, reaching the feat in 212 games.
Henry (230 games) comes next on the list ahead of Cole (286), Owen (323), Rooney (330) and Fowler (333).
Defoe, whose volley for Sunderland against Newcastle from 2015 is featured in the video above, comes seventh in the list, taking 443 games to reach 150 Premier League ahead of Lampard.
