Alexis Sanchez contract is important but Arsenal have time, says Arsene Wenger

Alexis Sanchez's contract situation is important to Arsenal, insists Arsene Wenger, even if the forward's demands increase.
The Chile international's current deal is set to expire in less than two years and he has been involved in discussions with the club over a new contract for some time.
Sanchez took his goal tally to 10 in all competitions for the season with a double in the 3-1 win over Bournemouth on Sunday, and Wenger remains intent on completing a new contract despite concerns the 27-year-old's form could mean more expensive terms.
"It is important," Wenger said after the victory. "How important it is, I don't know. We will not sort it tonight.
"We have some time in front of us. You (the media) like us to spend money, so you should be happy!"
Sanchez has been moved into a centre-forward role this season, having spent much of previous campaigns on the wing, and is keeping Olivier Giroud out of the side despite the Frenchman's own impressive goalscoring record.
Wenger recently described Sanchez as "remarkable" after the former Barcelona forward returned from scoring twice in his country's 3-1 World Cup qualifying victory over Uruguay to start the 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
