Yannick Bolasie says Everton will face an uphill battle to make it into Europe unless they can rediscover their form in December.
After an excellent start to life under Ronald Koeman, the Toffees' season has faltered with just one win in their last nine games in all competitions.
Everton's fixture list in December is tough with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all on the slate and Bolasie believes this could be a make-or-break month for the club.
"I still we could make it into the European places but this month would say a lot about us because the games that we have got are really tough but knowing these players they are all looking forward to it," Bolasie told Sky Sports News HQ.
Bolasie is unable to put his finger on why Everton have struggled of late but says overall the team are still in a strong position.
"As a team, we have probably got to work harder," Bolasie admitted.
"At the same time, when I really reflect and look deep into it, when I signed for Everton, if you would have told me at the start of December 'you are going to be in seventh position, you have got a game against United at home, you win that and you go sixth, I would have shook your hand'.
"Obviously now it is up to us as players to try and put things right on Sunday."
Bolasie joined Everton from Palace in August for a fee which could rise as high as £28m.
He has managed only one goal in the league, against Burnley, and the 27-year-old admits he needs to start finding the net on a more regular basis.
"I am getting the chances and I am getting in the right positions," Bolasie said.
"It is up to me to put it in the back of the net but that all comes from training. Hopefully I can take the confidence from training into a game."
