Xavi, who is playing in the Qatar Stars League, is an ambassador for Generation Amazing, a CSR project supported by the 2022 World Cup organisation committee and was tasked with engaging in a bit of freestyle action with Frenchman Sean Garnier.

Xavi also took part in a revealing question and answer session, where he spoke about why a winter World Cup will be "perfect", Barcelona's hopes for the season and the battle between Lionel Messi v Cristiano Ronaldo for World Player of the Year

Xavi emerged from Barca's famous academy, making his breakthrough into the senior side in 1998 and went onto become of the best passers football has ever seen.

The midfielder earned 133 international caps, won Euro 2008, the 2010 World Cup, Euro 2012, seven Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and three Champions Leagues during his time at Camp Nou.
