Bury have appointed Chris Brass as their new head coach and Ryan Kidd as his assistant.
The news comes over a month after David Flitcroft left the Sky Bet League One club having failed to win any of his last 11 matches in all competitions.
Brass has been interim manager since Flitcroft left the Shakers and will be in charge until the end of the season, while Chris Sedgwick will remain as first-team coach.
Bury chairman Stewart Day said: "I am delighted to say that I have now appointed Chris Brass as head coach and Ryan Kidd assistant head coach as, I believe, we have the opportunity to take the club forward from appointing from within.
"As I said, I wanted to reflect on where we are as a club and look at how we can improve and that goes as a business as a whole.
"There are several things that, I believe, we can improve on and off the field and this is why I felt that by going with Chris and Ryan we are able to get back on track to where we should be. Chris Sedgwick also retains his role as first-team coach.
"I want us to win games, be successful, play attractive football and I also want performances from the team and both Chris and Ryan know what we are looking for as the winning culture needs to be within the club."
