Stoke to find out if Erik Pieters booking is transferred to Bruno Martins Indi

Stoke City are waiting to find out if a yellow card shown to Erik Pieters on Saturday will be rescinded or transferred due to a possible case of mistaken identity.
In the same game in which Jamie Vardy was shown a controversial red card by referee Craig Pawson, Pieters was booked in Stoke's clash with Leicester at the bet365 Stadium for a foul he claims he did not commit.
Speaking after the game, the Dutch left-back was adamant it had been his team-mate Bruno Martins Indi who had given away a foul for which a yellow card was given.
"I don't know if it was a red card for Jamie Vardy, yes or no, but one thing is clear, it was not a yellow for me," said Pieters.
"I wasn't even close to this guy. I don't know what they're going to do with that but it was not a yellow card for me."
The FA confirmed to Sky Sports it has yet to receive referee Pawson's report but confirmed an appeal from Stoke is not necessary for any potential transfer of a card to Martins Indi from Pieters.
"There's a big difference between me and Bruno. We're the same colour and have the same haircut, I think it's difficult to tell us apart," Pieters sarcastically added.
The card, should it stand, would be Pieters' third booking of the season while it would be former Porto centre-back Martins Indi's first of the campaign should it be retrospectively transferred.
