Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has heaped praise on Spurs full-backs Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, tipping them for big futures on the international stage.

Both Rose and Walker played instrumental roles in Tottenham's 2-1 victory over Burnley at White Hart Lane on Sunday, with Walker crossing for Dele Alli to equalise and Rose smashing in the winner.

Walker, 26, made his England debut in 2011 and has 23 caps to date, while 26-year-old Rose only broke into the England set-up this year, and has earned 12 caps since.

The two defenders are part of the second meanest defence in the Premier League and have now scored or assisted eight of the 29 goals scored by Spurs so far this season, with club captain Lloris claiming they can also have big futures at international level.

"They can be important for Tottenham and for the England national team too," said Lloris.

"They are still young. There are still some good players in front of them but if they keep working hard I would not be surprised if they had a great international career and they will help the club achieve great things as well.

"I feel they are very committed to the team. They have been in the club for a while and you can see that on the pitch. The way they play, the way they run, they can feel it.
