Ben Foster has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract with West Bromwich Albion.

The England goalkeeper, who joined the Baggies on loan from rivals Birmingham City in 2011 before making the mover permanent 12 months later, will remain at the Hawthorns until the summer of 2019.

Foster has been an ever-present in the Premier League this season and made his 150th top-flight appearance for West Brom in the 1-1 draw with Sunderland in October.

"His form this season has been there for all to see and he continues to set the standards at the club all the goalkeepers have to aspire to."
