Partick Thistle sign Mark Ridgers with Thorsten Stuckmann leaving Firhill

Partick Thistle have signed goalkeeper Mark Ridgers on a deal until the end of the season.

However, German goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann, who only moved to Firhill in September 2016, has left the club.

Former Hearts and Airdrie keeper Ridgers had been playing in the United Soccer League with Orlando City B before being released at the end of their season.

A statement on the club's website said: "The January transfer dealings are off and running at Firhill as the club can today announce two changes - one in and one out - both in the goalkeeping department.

"Thorsten Stuckmann has today departed the club following the expiry of his short term deal, with former St Mirren keeper, Mark Ridgers, signing until the end of the season.
