Dundee United boss Ray McKinnon has strengthened his attack by signing Thomas Mikkelsen from Odense Boldklub until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old, who is over 6ft, will offer United some power up front as the team chases automatic promotion from the Championship.
Mikkelsen, who has scored three times in 14 games for OB this season, had a loan spell with IFK Gothenburg in 2015.
United have received clearance for Mikkelsen and he will be included in the squad for Friday's top-of-the-table clash with Championship leaders Hibernian at Easter Road.
McKinnon said, "He is a strong, aggressive player who is good in the air and I think he will add goals here between now and the end of the season.
"He is fit and, subject to international clearance, will come right into the squad."
