Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has urged Christian Eriksen to reach "another level" in his game.
The 23-year-old Denmark international has become a crucial part of Pochettino's first team at Spurs, who blew a rift in the title race by beating Chelsea to move third in the Premier League in midweek.
Dele Alli has dominated discussion after his two goals ended the league-leaders' 13-game winning run, but it was Eriksen who supplied the pin-point crosses for the youngster to finish.
Eriksen has supplied eight assists and seven goals in all competitions this season and Pochettino said: "He's a very talented player and we're very happy with him.
"But he's another player that can improve. In the last few months he's improved a lot. We need to push him to try to get another level."
Spurs lead the top-four's form table for the last five games, with five straight wins, and they have six more points than they did after 20 games last season.
And Pochettino said: "We are in a very good position in the league. We can say were are not (in the title race) but we can say yes.
"It is a long way until the end of the season but if we show that we can cope with that level and be competitive I think why not? We will be there to fight them for the title at the end of the season."
