Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar scored one and aided another on his Shanghai SIPG debut during a friendly match on Monday.
The Chinese Super League side were in action against Saudi Arabian Premier League side Al Batin in Doha ahead of the new season which begins in March.
The Brazilian was a second-half substitute after a goalless first 45 minutes, but certainly caught the eye after his introduction to start his £60m move off with a bang.
Oscar broke the deadlock not long after entering the game when he swept home from a poor clearance to give his new side the lead.
He continued to be a menace for Shanghai SIPG and could have added more to his tally, but also had a hand in another goal after being fouled just outside the area.
It was up to team-mate Lu Wenjun to step up for the free-kick, which he curled expertly into the top corner, to seal the victory.
In attendance at the game were Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich, who are in Doha during their winter break, and Oscar pleased to have make such an impact.
"I only trained for two days and this is my first game. This is the start of a new season and we had only one goal, which was to win the game," the 25-year-old said after the game.
"My team-mates played very well today. The Chinese guys tried to help us integrate. It's difficult to have a good game in such a short time but they made it happen."
