Rotherham United have rejected a further two bids for striker Danny Ward, according to Sky sources.

Sky sources understand the Millers have turned down a total of five bids for the 25-year-old during the January transfer window.

Queens Park Rangers, who had a £1.3m bid rejected on Monday, have seen their improved offer of £1.5m also turned down by their Sky Bet Championship rivals.

Rotherham have rejected a bid over £2m from an unnamed Championship club for Ward, who has entered the final six months of his contract at the New York Stadium.

Ward has 10 goals in 27 appearances this season, including nine league goals for bottom-of-the-table Rotherham.

He joined Rotherham from Huddersfield Town in January 2015 and recently played down talk of a move away from the New York Stadium.
