We take a look back at a selection of the best Premier League goals from this season so far

There is a full round of midweek Premier League fixtures coming up and to get you in the mood, we look at the best goals of the campaign so far.

Not only is it Transfer Deadline Day on Tuesday, but there are also a number of eye-catching games to enjoy as the season hots up at both ends of the table.

League leaders Chelsea travel to fourth-placed Liverpool in the standout encounter of the round, while also on Tuesday evening second-in-the-table Arsenal host Watford at the Emirates.

Elsewhere, Tottenham - in third place - entertain bottom club Sunderland, while on Wednesday evening both Manchester clubs are in action, with City visiting West Ham United and United playing Hull City at Old Trafford.

And of course you can see all the goals as they go in on your mobile on the Sky Sports Score Centre app, but in the meantime, why not vote for your favourite Premier League goal of the season so far…

Sadio Mane (Arsenal v LIVERPOOL, August 14)

What better way to both open your Reds account and kick off the new Premier League season than by scoring your side's final goal in a 4-3 win at the Emirates after a mazy dribble past a posse of Arsenal players followed by an unerring finish into the roof of the net.

Cristhian Stuani (Sunderland v MIDDLESBROUGH, August 21)

Stuani made his Premier League debut for Boro in August's Wear-Tees league derby, with the Uruguayan marking the occasion by opening the scoring at the Stadium of Light with an absolute thunderbolt.

Jordan Henderson (Chelsea v LIVERPOOL, September 16)

The Reds captain stunned Stamford Bridge earlier in the campaign by putting the visitors 2-0 up with a sensational curling strike from 30 yards that left Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois clutching at thin air.

Dimitri Payet (WEST HAM UNITED v Middlesbrough, October 1)

If the twinkled-toed midfielder has indeed played his last game for West Ham, then at least he will have left his mark on the club's new stadium after scoring an unbelievable solo goal to help salvage his side a draw with Boro.

Gaston Ramirez (MIDDLESBROUGH v Bournemouth, October 29)

The playmaker has been an absolute revelation ever since joining Boro on a permanent deal last summer, with the 26-year-old rewarding boss Aitor Karanka for the faith he has shown in him by producing this 70-yard run and cool finish to help beat the Cherries.

Paul Pogba (Swansea City v MAN UTD, November 6)

The France international gave the visitors the lead at the Libery Stadium with an exquisite long-range drive that flew past Swans No 1 Lukasz Fabianski, before nestling in the top right-hand corner of the 'keeper's net.

Jeff Hendrick (BURNLEY v Bournemouth, December 10)

The Irishman became the Clarets' record signing last summer, although the midfielder has already shown it was money well spent by firing this outrageous dipping volley past a startled Artur Boruc at Turf Moor.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (MAN UTD v Sunderland, December 26)

The Armenian wrapped up United's 3-1 win over Sunderland on Boxing Day with a truly outrageous 'scorpion' finish that brought the house down at Old Trafford even though the playmaker was fractionally offside.

Olivier Giroud (ARSENAL v Crystal Palace, January 1)

Similar to Mkhitaryan's 'scorpion' goal, the Gunners forward capped off a breathtaking passing move from one end of the pitch to the other with an audacious effort against Palace in what many observers have dubbed the goal of the season so far…

Andy Carroll (WEST HAM UNITED v Crystal Palace, January 14)

Despite missing large chunks of the season with injury, the pony-tailed Hammers frontman was still able to produce a stunning acrobatic first-time volley to help down the Eagles at the London Stadium earlier this month.
