Andy Carroll's overhead stunner has beaten Olivier Giroud's scorpion kick to January's Premier League Goal of the Month.
The West Ham striker was announced as the winner of the award on Friday for his sensational effort against Crystal Palace on January 14 - a strike which has already been immortalised on a mural at the London Stadium.
But Carroll's success means that Giroud's 'scorpion kick' on January 1 - also against Crystal Palace - has not been honoured with the league's Goal of the Month prize.
