Mads Pedersen was sent sprawling in the match between Nordsjaelland and Silkeborg

Nordsjaelland full-back Mads Pedersen was unaware of his side's opening goal against Silkeborg on Friday night after being knocked out by the ball in the build-up.

Pedersen was struck on the side of the head by a fiercely hit clearance midway through the first half and was out cold by the time Godsway Donyoh rifled home a superb volley to break the deadlock.

The 20-year-old defender came round while his team-mates were still celebrating their goal and he was allowed to continue playing for the majority of the match.

Pederson even had a hand in two more goals as Nordsjaelland ran out comfortable 5-1 winners in the Danish Superliga.
