As the season enters its final couple of months, many teams are looking at getting deals in place to beat the rush in the summer. Our friends at Football Whispers have rounded-up the latest from the European papers.
Spain
Atletico Madrid are monitoring the situation surrounding Alexis Sanchez's future. If FIFA lifts their transfer ban, Atleti will make a move for the Arsenal forward this summer. But they will have to negotiate the price down. Diego Simeone's side could not afford more than a €40million transfer fee and the Chilean would have to take a pay cut. (AS)
Jose Mourinho is a fan of Atleti's Lucas Hernandez and will make a move to bring him to Manchester United in the summer. But the Madrid club will not sell anyone unless their transfer ban is lifted or United match his €65million buyout clause. (Mundo Deportivo)
Barcelona are planning on bringing back Gerard Deulofeu this summer. The Everton winger, who is on loan at AC Milan, has a clause in his contract allowing him to return to the Catalan club for €12million. (Marca)
Italy
Juventus are another team closely following what's going on with Alexis Sanchez. The view in Italy is that he wants to leave Arsenal and return to Serie A, which has alerted the Bianconeri, who are long-term admirers of the Chilean.
The Turin-based side will also step up their pursuit of Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi following the injury to Marko Pjaca. The Croatian is out for around six months after suffering a cruciate ligament injury on international duty. (Tuttosport)
Inter have cooled their interest in Chelsea boss Antonio Conte. The Nerazzurri have decided to stick with current manager Stefano Pioli, at least for another season. Suning Group, which owns Inter, has made Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone its preferred option to replace Pioli when his contract is up in 2018. (Corriere dello Sport)
Roma will meet with Kevin Strootman in the next few weeks to discuss a new contract. The midfielder is thought to be a Manchester United transfer target, but the Giallorossi are keen on keeping the Dutchman at the Stadio Olimpico. (Leggo)
Germany
Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich is a man in demand. Manchester United, Manchester City and two unknown clubs for Spain have already made enquiries for the 22-year-old. (Kicker)
Real Madrid are considering a move for Bernd Leno in the summer. Los Blancos want to replace Keylor Navas and the Bayer Leverkusen's agent Uli Feber says he expects there to be interest from the Spanish giants this summer. (Kicker)
Shinji Kagawa could leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer. The former Manchester United midfielder is no longer a first-team option at the Bundesliga side and manager Thomas Tuchel seems him as dispensable. (Kicker)
Arjen Robben turned down offers from Chinese Super League clubs to extend his contract at Bayern Munich in January. But he is still a transfer target for Guangzhou Evergrande, who think they can tempt the Dutch winger in 2018. (Sport Bild)
France
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is unsure whether to renew his contract with the French club or push for a move elsewhere. The 21-year-old midfielder's current deal runs until 2019, but after Unai Emery's side's collapse against Barcelona in the Champions League, Rabiot is not convinced by the club's long-term plans to strengthen the squad and properly compete in Europe.
