Football rivals also united at Villa Park on Sunday, with Birmingham fans joining Aston Villa supporters in remembering Ehiogu with a minute's applause and chants of appreciation.
Tributes have poured in from all sections of the football community both in the UK and across the globe to the defender, who made 355 Premier League appearances during his career.
