Harry Kane will be eager to improve his unrivalled London derby scoring record when Tottenham face West Ham on Friday Night Football.
The 23-year-old scored his 19th goal in 26 London derbies in the Premier League when he netted in Spurs' 2-0 win over Arsenal last weekend.
His record is the best in Premier League history of players to have played in at least five London derbies, with an average of 0.73 goals per game putting him fractionally ahead of Thierry Henry.
Tottenham legend Jurgen Klinsmann sits third in the rankings, while West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini is the closest active player to Kane having score eight goals in 13 London derbies.
The Hammers are actually Kane's second-favourite London opponents after Arsenal. The striker has five goals in six Premier League games against West Ham.
That record includes two in their previous meeting, when Kane struck a late double at White Hart Lane to hand Spurs a thrilling 3-2 victory.
A repeat of that outcome on Friday night would put Tottenham within a point of Premier League leaders Chelsea, who do not play until their Monday Night Football meeting with Middlesbrough.
For Kane, Friday's encounter represents another opportunity to close the gap on Romelu Lukaku at the top of the Premier League scoring charts.
Kane has three goals to make up on the 24-goal Everton man as things stand, but under the lights in a London derby, you wouldn't bet against him adding to his tally.
