Jodie Taylor scored two second-half goals to help England Women to a 4-0 win over Switzerland in Biel on Saturday, as the Lionesses continued their preparations for Euro 2017 in style.

The Arsenal striker netted twice in 12 minutes to wrap up victory after first-half goals from Fran Kirby and Gunners team-mate Jordan Nobbs had Mark Sampson's side leading at the break.

Kirby could have put England in front in the 27th minute after Swiss 'keeper Gaelle Thalmann deflected a poor back-pass into her path, but the Chelsea forward steered her effort onto the bar.

The deadlock was broken just three minutes later when Nobbs picked up a pass from Demi Stokes before firing a spectacular right-footed effort into the top corner from the edge of the box.

Kirby doubled England's advantage five minutes before the interval when she raced onto a through-ball from captain Steph Houghton and rounded Thalmann.

The Lionesses almost added another moments after the restart when Toni Duggan hit the post, but it didn't take long for England to add another as, just five minutes later, they were three goals to the good when Taylor scored her first of the night with a low left-footed shot from the edge of the box.
