Andy Murray selects his dream football XI during a special interview with Guillem Balague

World No 1 Murray talked football as well as his tennis career for a special sit-down interview broadcast on the new Sky Sports Football channel on Tuesday night.

The Scotsman, who counts Hibernian, Arsenal and Barcelona among his favourite teams, admitted he'd rather watch Lionel Messi than Cristiano Ronaldo if forced to pick between the superstar pair - but found space for both in his fantasy XI.

He plumped for Gunners legend and Sky Sports pundit Thierry Henry in a fearsome forward line, while he opted for former Manchester United hero Rio Ferdinand at the back.

And he wasted little time in selecting one midfield trio he reckons was so good "it was a joke!"
