Millie Bright says England are ready to take on the Netherlands in the semi-finals of the women's European Championship

England midfielder Millie Bright insists the team are "more than ready" for their Euro 2017 semi-final against host Netherlands on Thursday.

The 23-year old featured as part of the England team which beat France for the first time in 43 years in their last-eight clash on Sunday, making it four consecutive victories for the Lionesses.

And Bright is confident Mark Sampson's side, who have conceded just one goal in the tournament, can continue the momentum in Enschede on Thursday.

"We've set out to come to this tournament for one reason and that's to win," said Bright.

"We take it game by game and make sure we keep raising the bar with our performances.

"We're going to be more than ready for this semi-final."

Bright has proved a crucial part in England's solid defence in the Netherlands thus far but admits facing the hosts in the semi-finals will be a tough task.

The Lionesses travel to the FC Twente Stadion knowing they will be faced by a vocal support, but in the hope they can replicate their extra-time success over the Dutch from Euro 2013.

"Obviously against the home nation it's going to be an unbelievable atmosphere," she added.

"We're ready for the tough game that they're going to bring. Like you said, we've both got the momentum on our side.

"I think it's going to be a very interesting and lively game."
