Eni Aluko has denied making herself unavailable for England selection and has said she remains a centrally contracted England player.

Eluko, who has made over 100 appearances for England, is believed to have held objections to the manner in which she was treated and how the international side was selected.

In the statement Aluko released she also confirmed that she had agreed a settlement earlier this year regarding her complaints - about "bullying and harassment" - which were reportedly directed towards Mark Sampson and members of the coaching setup.

Mail Online had claimed yesterday, that the 30-year-old had made herself unavailable for international selection while Sampson, who was appointed England manager in December 2013, remained in charge despite the FA awarding her a lucrative central contract.

The Football Association responded to the article by saying that an independent investigation found there had been no misconduct by Sampson or his staff.
