Three Sky Bet Championship fixtures on Tuesday will not have the Hawk Eye Goal Line Technology system (GLT) in operation.

The Championship fixtures between Barnsley v Nottingham Forest, Birmingham City v Bolton Wanderers and Millwall v Ipswich are all impacted because the three respective home sides do not have the required floodlighting levels for the technology to work accurately.

GLT was introduced into the second tier of English domestic football from the start of the season but due to insufficient floodlighting levels, the English Football League has taken the decision not to use the technology at Oakwell, St Andrew's and The Den.

Aston Villa will be chasing a first win of the season in the Sky Bet Championship when they travel to Reading on Tuesday night

The system, which has been fully tested in natural light conditions, will continue to be used at nine other midweek fixtures while the EFL will continue to work with the clubs affected to find an appropriate solution in the coming weeks.
