In the modern era of showbiz players and big-money moves, we're shining a light on football's everyday heroes.
The Soccer AM team have launched their Hero of the Month award to take a lighter look at the beautiful game and celebrate those standout performers and magic moments that might go under the radar.
For our inaugural 'Hero of the Month' we've picked out five August contenders including a superman goalkeeper and a cult favourite's brilliant celebration. Watch their best bits and then vote for your favourite below.
Adam Smith, Laura Woods and Jimmy Bullard will discuss the five nominees on the Weekend Warm-up on Soccer AM's Facebook page at 5.30pm on Friday, with the winner announced on next Friday's show...
