Bayern Munich's Rafinha 'rejected offers from England and Spain'

Bayern Munich full-back Rafinha has confirmed he turned down potential moves to England and Spain over the summer in order to stay at the Allianz.
The 32-year-old has spent six seasons with the Bundesliga champions after joining from Serie A club Genoa in 2011, and has won five league titles, three German cups and a Champions League during his time in Bavaria.
Rafinha has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Chelsea, and according to Sky sources, the Premier League champions had a deadline-day bid rejected for the defender.
Despite failing in a bid for the Brazil international, Chelsea were still able to fill the void in defence - signing Davide Zappacosta from Torino for a reported £23m.
Rafinha, who has featured for Bayern seven times this season, has pledged his loyalty to his current club but hinted this may change if he is not given enough game time.
"Bayern's bosses know I already had offers from England and Spain before the season started," Rafinha told Sport Bild.
"I have Bayern in my heart and I always give 100 per cent, they can always count on me.
"Therefore, I think those responsible understand that I really want to play, otherwise I will have to think about my future."
