Carlos Carvalhal wants to stay at Sheffield Wednesday

Carlos Carvalhal reiterated his desire to stay at Sheffield Wednesday after their 3-0 win over Leeds.
The Portuguese boss had been under some pressure after defeats against rivals Sheffield United and Birmingham this week, but they responded superbly to that at Hillsborough on Sunday.
"I'm very resilient and I know my way. I started in the third division in Portugal and got to the first. To do that I must work and it wasn't easy and nobody gave me anything," he told Sky Sports.
"There are a lot of emotions when we have a lot of love for something but I want to stay at Sheffield Wednesday. I think the patience, work and quality is passed to the players and they expressed it on the pitch."
Gary Hooper scored twice in the first half for Wednesday before Kieran Lee rounded off a convincing win late on, to see Sheffield Wednesday climb up to 12th in the Sky Bet Championship table.
"It was a very good game for the people in the stadium and watching on TV," said Carvalhal. "Leeds have a good team and they are doing very well so far.
"We came from two defeats and I said before the game that we'd be ready to play our football, which we did with personality in what wasn't an easy moment.
"We have expectations but the personality of my players and their quality and organisation made it a fantastic game in this derby, and the fans will remember it for some time. I put players that played in the last defeat at home and they gave me an answer.
"Leeds are doing very well but they've lost a few games in a row and now they're under a bit of pressure also. This is normal in this competition, but they don't lose the value they have and we don't lose the value we have."
