Burnley are "enjoying" life in the Premier League after making a strong start to the season, says manager Sean Dyche

Burnley are "enjoying" their strong start to the season, says manager Sean Dyche.

Dyche's side continued their impressive start with a 1-0 victory away at Everton on Sunday - they currently sit in sixth after their opening seven league games and are unbeaten in their last five.

After struggling on their travels last season, Burnley have dramatically transformed their away form, winning eight points away from home so far - more points than they won away from home all of last season.

The Burnley manager has been pleased with the results his side have produced so far this season after taking points off Liverpool and Tottenham on the road, while also managing to beat champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

"It looks like the superpowers are looking like the superpowers - as you'd expect," said Dyche, when asked what he had made of the Premier League season so far.

"For ourselves (Burnley) it's always a challenge but we are enjoying what we have done so far this season.

"You have to be realistic when you look at the fixtures at the beginning of the season. We've had a tough run of fixtures, so to turn in the results we have is very pleasing. But it is just a so far story for us.

"We are looking at how we are producing performances, how we are working on the training pitch and the outside noise can take care of itself, we are just really focused on what we are trying to achieve."
