Phil Neville backs David Unsworth for Everton job

Phil Neville believes David Unsworth deserves the chance to prove himself as Everton manager.
Unsworth has been in caretaker charge at Goodison Park since Ronald Koeman's sacking last month and former Everton captain Neville thinks he should be given time to show what he can do.
"I want David Unsworth to get an opportunity," Neville told Sky Sports News.
"He knows the club, he was a player he's coached the U23s, he's produced so many brilliant young players.
"I know he's had four games but I hope he gets longer than that.
"One, I think he's a good person. Two, he's done his hard graft in the youth team and the U23s, I hope as a young English coach he gets an opportunity to do well.
"There are not many managers out there capable of managing a club like Everton.
"Everton deserves the best, it's a club that shouldn't be down the bottom of the table with the investment they've made."
Unsworth has said he has heard nothing about the job and must prepare his side for a trip to south-east London to play bottom-of-the-league Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Sam Allardyce, Diego Simeone, Burnley manager Sean Dyche and Watford boss Marco Silva are among the managers who have been linked with the job since Koeman's departure.
