Mohamed Salah wants to complete his record of scoring against every other top-six Premier League side when Liverpool head to Man Utd

Mohamed Salah told Jamie Carragher he wants to complete his record of scoring against every other top-six Premier League side when Liverpool head to Manchester United on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.

The Egypt international is the league's joint-top scorer alongside Harry Kane with 24 goals, and strikes against Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal have helped Salah reached that impressive tally.

Salah, 25, may have reached that mark after just 28 league games, but the blank he drew in October's stalemate against Manchester United - which featured a stunning David de Gea stop to deny Joel Matip - still lingers in his mind.

Jurgen Klopp's tactics have been the key to Mo Salah going to the next level at Liverpool.

Ahead of Liverpool's trip to Old Trafford, Salah told Carragher he is "excited" to face United in his bid to secure a top-six clean sweep when it comes to goals.

"I remember it [De Gea's save]. I also missed an easy chance in that game, but he is great," Salah said.

"Before the game you have to prepare yourself for the game, and you see the weakness of the players or the goalkeeper, and you have to try many times to break that and to score and to do something different.

"But we know we play against Manchester [United] and De Gea. He is a great goalkeeper and this is the only team I did not score against in the top six this season, so I will try.

"I try to look for a goal in any game I play. I thought already about that and I'm very excited to play in that game because this is the only team in the top six I didn't score against. Only Manchester [United]!"
