Terry Gibson praised Marcelo for this 'touch of the game' as Real Madrid looked for a winner against Atletico

In a game containing Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann, it was Marcelo who was the best player on the pitch during the Madrid derby between Real and Atletico.

The bushy-haired Brazilian was in sensational form for Real in the 1-1 draw and was one of their most influential attacking players throughout the contest, even hitting the bar with a rasping effort before half-time.

With the clock ticking towards full-time, Marcelo produced one of the moments of the match by executing a wonderful piece of skill over by the left touchline.

Lucas Hernandez hoisted a clearance high into the sky towards Marcelo, who audaciously flicked the ball to Isco with the outside of his right foot first time under pressure.
