Ryan Sessegnon will be a Fulham player next season in the Premier League even if he is sold and loaned back, says owner Shahid Khan.

The 18-year-old has attracted interest from Manchester United and Tottenham after 16 goals and seven assists saw him win Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season at the EFL awards.

Fulham owner Khan hopes that promotion back to the top flight via Saturday's play-off final win over Aston Villa will help keep Sessegnon, who can be deployed as a left winger or left full-back, at Craven Cottage.

Ryan Sessegnon discusses comparisons with Gareth Bale, his dreams of playing with his brother and Fulham's play-off hopes.

"We don't want Sessegnon leaving," Khan told The Times. "I don't think he wants to go. He's going to be at Fulham for the coming year, leading us into the Premier League.

"Frankly, if we had not been promoted, well, we have a responsibility to our players. He's been there since he was eight.

"We want to do the right thing for him and he is Fulham through and through."

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic does not believe Ryan Sessegnon will leave

However, Khan admitted that if Fulham were to sell Sessegnon to one of Europe's top clubs, it would have to be for the right price and with an option to be loaned back.
