Swansea have turned down an £8m bid from Fulham for Jordan Ayew, according to Sky sources.
The Cottagers are keen to strengthen their attacking options following promotion to the Premier League and remain interested in a deal for the Ghana international.
Ayew ended last season as Swansea's top scorer with 11 goals, including seven in the Premier League, but was unable to prevent them from suffering relegation.
The 26-year-old, who joined Swansea from Aston Villa in January 2017, has two years remaining on his contract at the Liberty Stadium.
Meanwhile, Fulham have been told they will need to pay £20m to sign Newcastle forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Sky sources understand the Magpies are willing to sell Mitrovic, but only if their valuation is met.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham and scored 12 goals in 20 matches as they secured promotion to the Premier League via the Sky Bet Championship play-offs.
Mitrovic, who is currently preparing for the World Cup with Serbia, has two years remaining on his contract at St James' Park.
