Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has called on his players to improve

Lloris kept a clean sheet in Tottenham's 3-0 win over Manchester United on Monday Night Football.

The Frenchman was charged with drink-driving on the Friday morning before the game, leading to questions whether the World Cup winner and Spurs captain would be dropped.

But Lloris' performance at Old Trafford helped Spurs to continue their perfect start to the season, which they will hope to maintain when they face unbeaten Watford, live on Sky Sports.

Moussa Sissoko (hamstring) is also unavailable, while Erik Lamela's hamstring injury will be assessed ahead of Sunday's match.

Victor Wanyama is back in full training as he recovers from a knee injury.

Despite their positive start to the season, Pochettino wants to see improvements in his side after being left "disappointed" by their first-half performance at Old Trafford.

"We need to fight against the perception and when you compare the perception and reality, and we need to talk about the reality," Pochettino said.

"The reality was the first half we could have conceded one, two or three goals. But of course the team showed character and in the second half we were much better, and I think we dominated and created the best options.

Pochettino has called for patience over the delays to Tottenham's new stadium

The Argentine added: "I want to improve because after three games, in the end it's only the beginning of the season, we need to show we are contenders in 10 months and we need to improve our performance.

"We are not ready, we believe because we beat Manchester United 3-0, I know it's fantastic but I think we are going to crash. That is my mood, that is my thoughts, that is how we feel in football."
